Chapter 2 Overview:
"In this chapter, professional school counselors will learn four evidence-based approaches and techniques that can be used in both secular and Christian school settings. While this chapter will share practical ways professional school counselors can provide counseling to all students, it will also provide a particular focus on ways professional school counselors can counsel students who identify as Christian and want to integrate faith into counseling. Counseling theories and techniques that allow for Biblical integration will also be explored to better assist Christian students who may feel marginalized in traditional secular school settings. A variety of skills, strategies, and tools to assist professional school counselors will be discussed throughout the chapter."
